Pennsylvania has enacted a 2011 statewide average weekly wage rates, effective as of January 1, 2011, for indemnity worker’s compensation benefits, paid as temporary total disability benefits. |

For 2011, the statewide average weekly wage increased by 1.5%. |

|
As of January 1, 2011, the maximum compensation payable rate for temporary total disability benefits under the Pennsylvania Worker’s Compensation Act is $858.00, yielding yearly compensation benefits of $44,616.00, based upon a statewide maximum average weekly wage of $1,287.00. |
||||||
|
In 2010, the maximum rate was $845.00, yielding a maximum yearly compensation benefit rate of $43,940.00, without factoring in deductions for attorneys’ fees. |
||||||
|
Under the Bureau of Worker’s Compensation 2011 Rate Schedules, injured workers receiving Worker’s Compensation Benefits for temporary total disability benefits are entitled to receive 66 2/3% for any weekly wages within a range of $643.51 per week to a maximum of $1,287.00 per week. |

|
The wage rate for wages ranging between $643.50 and $476.67 is $429.00. |
||||||
|
For anyone earning less than $476.66 per week, the Act and the Bureau apply a 90% calculation basis for calculating temporary total disability benefits. |

|
